Prescription Diets and Nutritional Counseling

Good nutrition is as important for pets as it is for people. As our pets age, they are prone to developing medical conditions that require a change in their diet.

  • Overweight pets may need specialized diets to help reduce body weight for better overall health and longevity.

  • Diabetic animals can benefit from diets that help regulate both weight and glucose levels.

  • Animals with kidney and liver diseases will live longer, happier lives with diets designed to reduce stress on these organs.

Our job as veterinary practitioners is to help you choose the best diet for your pet based on his or her individual needs. We are happy to address any dietary questions or concerns you may have at each stage of your pet's life. In most cases, the diet your pet needs will be on our shelf. If not, we can order it for you and advise you when it is ready for pick up.
